Privacy Policy

Quran Focus ("the App") is developed by Strategie Ayoub ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Do Not Collect

Quran Focus is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

• No account creation or login required
• No personal information (name, email, phone number) is collected
• No usage analytics or tracking
• No advertising or ad identifiers
• No data is sent to our servers — we do not operate servers

Data Stored on Your Device

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and App Groups). This includes:

• Your reading progress and preferences
• Selected theme, reciter, and translation preferences
• App blocking settings and selected apps
• Cached Quran verses and audio for offline use
• Prayer time data based on your device region

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Screen Time & Family Controls

Quran Focus uses Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time APIs to block and unblock apps you select. This functionality:

• Operates entirely on your device
• Only affects apps you voluntarily choose to block
• Uses Apple's privacy-preserving opaque tokens — we never see the names or identifiers of your apps
• Can be disabled at any time in the app's Settings

Third-Party Services

The App connects to the following external services for content only:

• AlQuran.cloud API — to fetch Quran verse text, translations, and audio recitations
• Aladhan API — to fetch prayer times based on your device's region setting (no GPS data is sent)
• Apple StoreKit — to process in-app subscriptions through Apple's secure payment system

We do not control these services and recommend reviewing their respective privacy policies.

Location

The App may request location permission for the Qibla compass feature. Location data is processed entirely on your device to calculate the direction to the Kaaba. Location data is never transmitted or stored.

Children's Privacy

Quran Focus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Subscriptions

In-app purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management and cancellation is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
